Abalone Victoria (Central Zone) Ltd (AVCZ) was developed and operates under an organisational Constitution which meets the requirements of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). The AVCZ Constitution sets out the organisation’s rules and objectives.
Under the Constitution AVCZ members can vote for candidates who seek to be an Industry and Independent Board Director. The current Board made up of 2 Independent and 4 Industry Directors was confirmed at the AGM on the 11 November 2016, and a summary of current Directors can be found here In accordance with the AVCZ Constitution a designated number of Independent and Industry Directors are required to retire each year with the vacant positions up for election at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
